Very unfortunate. Does anyone know what kind of car he was driving and whether a H&N restraint was used?

Best wishes to his family and friends.

A Radical.

Re restraint, we have spoken with that writer (who did not know) and are awaiting calls back from the the physician who did the autopsy and the writer of this article: http://www.mcall.com/news/local/all-...6,0,8071.story

So sad.

Deaths on the track are always hard for me to take. We all know it can happen. That doesn't make it any easier to accept.

My prayers go out to the family.

The radical is an open wheel car like F1 or CHamp car, but smaller, and they have Hayabusa Motorcycle motors. This was with EMRA. www.emraracing.org

A radical is not an open wheel car, nor is it anything like a F1 or Champ car. It is a sports car with an open cockpit and is certain models is street legal in the UK.

Condolences to his family.

Peace be with Allen and his family!

was anyone there? it sounds like a blind turn.
Was the car blocking the track covered with a waving yellow?

How long after the 1st car hit the wall til the 2nd impact?

The Uphill is a right hander at the end of No Name straight.

If there is a car blocking the track at the end of the Uphill (back straight), you would never see it turning into the Uphill.
It is very easy to spin a car on the exit of Uphill if you don't have the car straight as you crest the Uphill.....seen it many times before.
