Windows Media Codec Performance
I've been tinkering around with different video formats lately and did a little experiment I thought I'd share with the group. I took a one minute video clip and rendered it in three different quality levels.
Now you can see for yourself the differences in size and video quality.
Right click, Save As
I think the 512k streaming rate to be the best trade off in quality to size. The 1024 is a bit more detailed and clearer, but it takes twice the storage!
Download the clips to your desktop and see for yourself.

I was a very big fan of DivX until this last 6.0 release. I plunked down my $ for a copy of the DivX 6 package only to find it wasn't compatible with Adobe Premiere Pro. The DivX codec just doesn't show up as an available export format.
