Has anyone had any experience with the Hankook Z211 tire???? The dealer who also supplies Toyo's said the Z211 will stick better and have a stiffer side wall, but will wear out faster.

I have no experience, but these USTCC guys run them and compared them to the toyo's they used to run.
This thread covers it. Note the first few posts are some race pics then they get into the tire thing with some detailed info about life and use.

I had Hankook tires on my open trailer...although, it's certainly not the same comparison. For whatever it's worth, the rubber on my relatively new trailer tires, virtually "fell off" as if the tires were bananas and exposed the rubber tubes. Not one mind you, but 3 tires. I replaced them immediately and never, ever bought Hankook brand tires again.
Keep us posted on your results.

Joe,
Thanks for the thread tip. Since the post, I did get some additional info about the hankooks, and they will have more stick than the Toyo's at a cost of cording them in two weekends of DE.
