944 Oil Pan Baffles
Please post any pics you have of 944 oil pan baffles, trap doors, etc. I am going to be dropping the pan on my soon to be track car (85.5) and I plan on welding in some baffles to prevent oil starvation. I've got an idea of what I'm planning to do but I'd like to see whats out there. Thanks!

Cory - I wish I did. I had the shop perform their recommended "modification" to the pan on my '88 NA when I was replacing the rod bearings for the SECOND time. I should have snapped some pics. Perhaps it's top secret?
Anyone else?
Also, might try the generall 944 board - lot's of traffic.

Cory,
This is the setup in my 89. There has been some tweaking done, seen in the second shot. The good news is that it has been a race car for most of its life, and had a very busy season in 2004 after I got it. I pulled the rod bearings last winter, the they were perfect - could have dropped them back in, but decided to replace them just to properly zero hour the engine.
Cell phone pics, so the quality is not great!

Cory,
The baffling in mine is stock turbo S. The only tweaking is teh folded aluminum panel you can see between the black baffle and the pan itself in the right of the second shot. Find a blown 88/89 engine and buy the oil pan [with the baffling].
