Here is another, one with what I consider a "distinctive" shape.

You can see the airport far off the west of the highway that connects Pheonix and Tuscon (family in Casa Grande) I can't find anything about a race track near Marana AZ. Is it private belonging to Evergreen? I don't see normal pit lanes or easy on/offs. Is this a trick track? Good one!

Evergreen's storage facility, with a whole BUNCH of 747s and other huge relics, including the 747 that used to carry the space shuttle. OH MAN! I can see a dozen Beech Starships there! (rare decomissioned pusher turboprops with a delta wing)

Yep that is an Arizona track. And yest it is sort of a trick track.
It is on grounds of Pinal Airpark. The southern arizona PCA has used that "track" for few years. It is sort of track. Really too narrow to have two cars side by side and does not have proper pit in/out facillities either. The PCA puts cones down the main straight to limit speeds and runs it as an autocross. Fun layout, but surface is old and not maintained. Therefore is very rough and tire killer. For that reason I have not run on that track in years. It is 1.1 miles long and you can hit over 100 on the main straight (sans cones) With cones most cars turn 1:20-1:40 lap times over the 1.1 miles.
It is an intersting place as we are not allowed to take pics of the airplanes when we are there. The place is used for a some autocrossing like the PCA and was also used for driver training for emergecy driving. Things like amored car get aways chases etc. Rumor is the guy that owns (or owned) Pinal Air Park had a son into formula cars. So he build the road course on the edge of the air park as place to play.
