Count down to the SCCA season opener at Laguna
WE got Scot's chassis over to CT automotive to finish the replacement of his old 82 US engine with a much newer 4.7 euro engine with the euro heads, cams and compression ratios to match is current euro intake. we did much of the build up of his new (used) 4.7 and dragged it to the shop for completion.
hopefully, it will start right up and we will be able to race it next weekend at Laguna for the SCCA regional season opener. Looks like a pretty packed club field and the (2) 928s will be going against C5 vets, M3 e46/e36 racers, cameros, even an 03 Mitsubishi Evo.
I have been spending lots of time at scots, helping him and havent done a thing since the end of last season. maybe ill change the oil! I have mounted the stock S4 brake air flow deflectors that mount on the lower A arms, so maybe that will help with brake cooling. oh yeah, the new timing belt after the speed WC belt skip tooth and suspect incorrect timing for most of last season is fixed.
should be fun, now just pray for sun! (and pray to the broken cam sprocket tooth gods)

Wow 47 cars on track at one time that should be fun ! Laguna is rather small for that many cars especially with different classes lap times...
