Post March LRP = Cayenne only DE's

March in New England is cruel when it comes to DE's.
LRP should just designate March as Cayenne's only month.

I sense you signed up for some early CVR event eh? Well, in March's defense winter isn't actually over for another week or two. It's actually April that makes me crazy. March, okay, fine, lions devouring lambs, but April shouldn't be wet and gray, though every year it always seems to be. All we can hope is that the somewhat unnaturally cool weather we're getting will give way to some above average temps in a week or three. Give it a month, we'll all feel better then.

Actually, I did sign up for both March CVR events last year. It snowed a day before the first March date and the 2nd ended up OK.
I figured I was bad luck, so I skipped CVR and signed up for HVR on 3/31 and NNJR 4/7-4/8.
Looking out my window, I figure I'll be lucky if the snow is melted for the NNJR date.

I too am concerned for the April events. Looks like I'll be watching in car video for track time!

We're in the same, boat. I have never bothered wth the CVR events, but I did ink a deal with NNJR for the 7,8. I had a suspicion that it might not come off, not to say that it won't, so I signed up for HCR on the 4/23, which is nice as its a Saturday. If there's snow on the ground by then they'll be blood in the streets.

Saw you signed up for NNJR, Mr. Roket. If the real thing doesn't come off, and your offer's still open, perhaps I'll join you for some of the vid viewing... I'm sure it would be instructive, plus I'm assuming you've got some compromising vid of Russ, I need some ammo before Cojote!

We're getting some warmer weather here and you really see the snow melting from the warmth of the snow. I think we'll be Ok for our HVR event on 3/31. Although, last year we closed the track for an hour due to it raining too hard.

3/18 and 3/19 are in bad shape. I'm down for 3/25 & 3/26, and they are still very doable. I am going to drive over on Monday and check the melt progress.

What is LRP's position on snow in the runoff areas?

Do they require the grass/runoffs to be clear of snow (which I am assuming is much slicker than wet grass?).

(I'm signed up for 4/23 HCR as well.)

I am also registered for both CVR events in March, but not holding my breath. I think I'll probably sign-up for the NNJR event on 4/7-8 too. Last year at the NNJR event, day 2 was pretty darn good weather.

ITC, my understanding Re: snow on run-off areas makes a no go. Pray for Lots of Sun!

I went by the track last Monday and they had plowed it. Not sure if that was a good idea since we will need the sun to melt those piles next to the track now...Also, isn't LRP bumpy enough without inducing plow scraping...

Cheers, James

With the almost 1/3rd price increase ($10,800 PER DAY!!!) this year I'm SURE they will pave it...
