Initial setup questions
Hey experts! As some of you may have noticed, I've yet again ripped my car apart and changed virtually the entire suspension. So, of course, I'm back at square zero with repsect to getting things properly adjusted. As I've gone from torsion bars to coilovers with single adjustable Ledas (400/600# springs), car is roughly 800/1350#. I was wondering if you guys have any advice as to starting points for the shock settings, bars, camber, toe etc. The car will be corner balanced of course. I'm not going to have much time to test prior to my first event, so I thought perhaps you'd all have some thoughts on where to start.

What tires will You be using is the first ?
Do You have a bunch of seat time in the car in its old config?
Do you like the car twitchy or stable?
Does a car that rotates easily bother You, or would You prefer it to move to understeer under duress?
That should get us started.

I'll have Toyo RA-1s 225/245x16 and Hoosiers S04s in the same dimensions. The plan is to take it easy at first and start with the more forgiving Toyos.

I have 40+ AXs, 20+ track days with the original setup.
I suppose you'd say I like the car somewhat neutral to slight oversteer, I enjoy having the rear start to hang out, but I like it to be predictable. I like to have, say, a half to a full second to react, if you know what I mean.
So I like rotation, but not in a twitchy way. Controlable, not too high strung. I'm comfortable modulating throttle in a drift situations. Make sense?
