Looking to get a G-Force SRS system, since my G-Force helmet is already setup for it.

Anyone have any first hand experience with this system?

I have a G-Force helmet and briefly considered it. I bought a HANS instead. I've seen the system first hand but have not worn it. I simply don't have faith in the angles that the restraint works at. Purely opinion, but that is what drove my choice. It is a kind of clever solution though if you do have faith in the angles it's working at.

I'll tell you what would be nice, if there were a standard. Then helmets would come with the hardware installed and there would be no question about compromising the integrity of the shell. Both of the popular systems now require modification to the shell (unless you glue the Isaacs). I hope now that HANS is certified and is the most popular device, helmet manufacturers that don't make a H&N system will have the HANS attachment points designed in.
