Default STOLEN RACE CAR AND RIG!!

I just got this from david taylor at TRG:

Everyone,

PLEASE HELP IFYOU CAN

The AutoSport Werks Rig and the #22 Race Car have been STOLEN!

Please spread the word if you see or hear about any new teams with a new
2004 Renegade 16' Toterhome with Blue suede interior and a 3 car trailer
with Chrome rear lift gate. Inside was the #22 Porsche GT3 Cup Car.
Also a Dynapack 4-wheel portable Dyno plus miscellaneous inventory.

Please forward this email to anyone you know that may be able to spot it
on the road. It was last seen at Noon on Sunday 2/20/05. The Vinyl
graphics may be off off it now... The license plates for the Toter home
are 916-KIG and for the trailer is 497-HMG

Thanks in advance for any info!! It is less than 24 hours away...

That is really unbelievable - it must have been carefully planned. As someone pointed out, it's a little hard to hide and dispose of something that large. It also suggests it must be somewhere in the area - you could not drive far without someone spotting you. Where was this?

There ain't no way someone could get away with that. They couldn't even send it overseas without someone being suspicious.

let us know when you find it, I really want to hear the story.

That rig is in a warehouse within 20 miles of the theft point would be my guess.

Best of luck on getting it back. Where did the theft occur? I am doing a lot of low level flying from ct to fl to tx this week so I can scope those areas if any are in the mix.

It was parked in Broomfield, Colorado. Just north of Denver.

Not my car but a friends.

The local news just reported that the rig was found. There were some items stolen and a bit of damage, but the car was untouched. They have some fingerprints and are hoping to catch the thieves. Just give me ten minutes with them...

I saw a post on the Audi boards that it was indeed recovered. I'm glad it turned out okay.

Good thing. I figured it would be in a million pieces in Russia by now.
