Team ECI, aka the racers from Delaware. will be making the trip south. This will be first time to Sebring for all of us. Coming is Tom Holmes, Mark Weining, Gregg Wilson, Dave Morris and myself.

Now all of you Florida racers better start up that heater. This highs of 50 degrees have got to go. My wife is expecting 70's and above!

I'm There. Arriving late Thursday night but, will be at Track Friday AM ASAP.

After Tech, Drivers Meeting and First Run I will go in search of the elusive Turtle Pond. How will I find you guys? What should I be on the lookout for?

Default Congrats Sloth!!!!

Danny has graciously agreed to host the pond, because I won't have my trailer down there. Since he makes his living keeping hundreds of over-served people happy, this should be no problem for him.

Most of the spots right behind the pits/tower structure go to the teams with big rigs. Staging is close to the overpass

Danny, maybe you and Rick can meet up and stake out some turf at the East end of the pit structure (away from the overpass).

I don't think you'll be able to get much closer to the center of things if you arrive Thursday afternoon.

I'll bring a big HWFM banner. To help guide the turtles home.

Sloth
Excellent application. You merit acceptance for point three alone -- The first point three (Having two point threes is very HWFM. You arfe a natural) Finishing last and still podium-ing is quite an accomplishment. And remember it'salways ok to win, as long as you do it in a HWFM manner.

Finally excellent timing. This will be a cakewalk for you since the team needs a new guy to buy all the beer.

As Danny said, what would you like your team role to be? Would you like "Official Team Rolling Chicane"? Perhaps "Sloth - Team Dynamo"? If you don't want to play off your Rennlist name,
how about "Worst and Still First"?

Welcome to the team, Sloth!

Mike , Rick et all,

I marked with a red X on the below map the location I estimate to gather up... Last time I was there it was pretty empty with plenty of space for long rigs as well. I'm planning to be there by mid afternoon on Thursday ( hopefully). My trailer is a Haulmark enclosed ( I will post pic later) with "Mission Motorsports" written in Blue on it and my truck is a gold Ford F-250.
If you guys know the time you are planning to arrive maybe we can coordinate a bit , a couple of us can meet at the Chateau Elan first and then drive in together to kind of get the sides of the pond staked. It would also be very helpfull to know how many rigs to anticipate for space wise so please post here this info.
I wish I had my "private function" signs here from my work but I'm not sure how to keep people away from "our area" unless we try and make it in all together or close to it...

If anyone has a table, tent etc we will need them!!! Unfortunately I'm not organized in that department yet, but my rig has AC ( doubt we will need it) a fridge and a microwave so cold water and any hot munchies if someone wants them are guaranteed from my end

Looking forward to meeting you all!!!

Thanks Mike. The application has been ready for a while, I have just been to sloth to submit. As suggested in point two, I'll take the position of "Team Rolling Chicane". Here I will provide my years of expereince, talent, and skills (or lack thereof) in the area of providing randomly positioned choke points for those pesky lead cars.

See you guys at Sebring.

Hey I still have an X on my car too. So all you fast D cars better not try and pass or I might have an anxiety attack or something.

Hey Sloth, I'm thirsty now. Fax me one of those wheat beers and I'll consider writing a rec letter for you. Oh, fax a lemon wedge too.

Watching the Rolex made me long for my time next week. Here is my hope for the weekend:

1. No rain
2. I don't embarrass myself
3. The ego remains in check
4. The testosterone remains controlled
5. I meet new enthusiast friends
6. I have some competitive stints on the tracks with similar skilled drivers
7. I can keep the newer faster cars in sight for at least one lap
8. I drive smart and think clearly
9. I learn from myself and others
10 The car stays together mechanically

Now lets see...what am I missing?

Can't wait to see all of you guys.
