I currently have 6 point TeamTech RamPac harnesses (pelvic pads, chest pads w/ sternum strap), 1 season old. I am very happy with the comfort and fit, as I didn't have a H&N restraint. Unfortunately, I am having to replace them (no driving this season without a H&N restraint....orders from the bride)
The Teamtech Rampac is not ISAAC 'optimal' (due to the shoulder straps widening from the 3" width as you approach the chest pads....insufficient distance in an impact per ISAAC specs and the sternum strap is just a bad idea in an impact...again due to forward motion in an impact).
The Teamtech Rampac is also not HANS 'optimal'; again due to the presence of a sternum strap and the fit of the shoulder/chest padding and straps with the 'new' 2005 HANS w/ wings.
So, ended up ordering Schroth Titanium Hybrid II (2 inch lap) 6 point harness (FIA approved), which should work with my H&N restraint. Very light and very comfortable, although I'm sure since it's new, it will take some getting used to.

From what I've been told by many people is that Schroths are very light, comfortable and are the strongest, too. They don't stretch as much as the nylon belts. I believe they are the only belts that have a 5-year lifespan, and they are also the only ones that are DOT approved.

I recently bought a pair from Sube Sports. Chad Demarco, the owner, is a 5 time ex-US. Rally car champ and knows the product very well. He has helped me with a lot of the detail safety questions from a driver's viewpoint. 1-714-847-1501. He is in Huntington Beach, CA.
He is not necessarily the cheapest, but his knowledge is worth every penny.

I'll add my vote for Steve Weiner as well. When I got my Stroth belts they were mismarked (got two passenger side ones) but Steve made it right with no fuss or bother. Great product and greart service.

Pulling up this older post because when I went searching for info on Schroths for my 951 I couldn't find it anywhere else. Ended up calling Steve W at Rennsport and am a very happy customer. Just another vote of confidence for a great Rennlist sponsor.
