OMG! He makes my 600 hp car look slow! Ever wonder what sub 1:10 looks like at Putnam? Here it is, compliments of “Hot Shoe Extraordinaire” Mr. Norm Goldrich. Please see the following bio to see his impressive background. http://www.jslracing.com/goldrichbio.html
Here is the video, only 9 meg, real good quality. I'm still begging for his data but we're working on some technical details. More to come.

enjoy!

CC,
thanks for the kind words. It is a fun car to drive on the edge...
BTW-The source original video looks much clearer - the dashboard is easy to read. However, it was 67MB. Thanks CC for compressing it...
In case you are wondering, turn 8 takes so much throttle steering since I have a locked spool (no diff/solid axle). Otherwise I would drive straight off ther track. It handles just like my shifter kart...
I will be giving Greg & Tony @ trackvision the full resolution version for them to post.
Also, the bio is an old one - it was part of sponsorship marketing info. I did not even think it was accessible anymore...

Pesky,
I do, but have not yet digitized it. I will try to do so shortly...
I am actually messing around and putting a cool dvd together. It has a funny copyright screen that says
"(c) 2004/2005 VCS & Legend in his own mind racing".

OK Norm, I am uploading a higher resolution compression right now. It will bring the size up to 38 meg but it looks great. I will update a new link in a few minutes.

Here is the high res version, 38 meg. Yes, I'm using Premiere Pro.

Nice video Norm, you really have to horse that bad boy around the tight stuff.
Looks like my kind of car...maybe some day.

RandPierson,
I am sure, Tim also has a great video! I bet his high straight line speeds were not much different than mine since his car is quite a bit lighter and more aerodynamic. Some of his cornering speeds in slower speed corners were probably a bit higher too due to the great balance and non-locked rear.
Plus he was driving it really well too.
