I've never ran with them before but I am going to the one in December. From everything I've heard, they run a great event. A good friend of mine ran several events with them 2 years ago and loved their events. He said that he got tons of track time.
He hasn't been back because he's been too busy running his dad's business after his father passed away.
If you are available to run, I'd recommend coming, according to the schedule, there will be tons of track time.

Hmm.. that sounds like a TON of track time! I may look into signing up for the novice group!
Edit: ARGHHH... I have to go to a wedding! Maybe I can find time to drive 9 hours to Sebring on the 18th? Probably not... darn.

BKS, Forklift -
Oh man, would I love to get back to VIR, and before the end of the year too.
Unfortunately, it does appear that work will get in the way to prevent my participation this time (as I am scheduled to start a trial on 12/7). Of course, you know I'd much prefer to drive my Porsche than work. Although it's a weekend event, the trip from NY requires driving all-day Friday to get to Danville and all-day Monday to return home.
See you boys next time.
Richard
P.S.: I didn't locate the weekend track fee on the CMS website. What's it cost? Maybe nextime.

I checked the web site this morning, there are only about 40 people registered. For those of you who went to the NNJR event, you know that the Red and Black groups had close to 60 people in them, so 40 people total for the entire event is gonna mean some serious track time.
I know the weather in December is probably the major turnoff for most people, but if the weather is half-way decent, it should be a great weekend.
Bring plenty of tires and brake pads.
