2005 PCA Club Racing rule changes posted

Bottom line, significant performance impacting rule changes are probably not a good thing... especially something as significant as weight changes.
All rules are inherently arbitrary... what is important is that they are predictable so that you can choose and develop a car around them. Certain cars are just more competitive in a class than others, and racers quickly find out which ones and buy them... everybody has access to the results... this is an open secret.
If you happen to have the less competitive car, and don't have the bucks to swap... well sure thats not fair...
Changing weights could suddenly change the pecking order.... the big buck guys will sell thiers and buy the new best car... the rest of us are stuck with second best despite having done our homework and made an investment. based on the rules.. that's not fair either.
