There is actually a permanet starter stand on the back straight. Normal spot is not really suited to race starts as so much of the field is wrapped around the last corners. Not only can you not see the starter, because you are in the turn it is hard to even know the race has started without a radio. In addition to the run-offs, I think that pretty much all the pro races use the back straight for the start.

Yep. You can see that pretty much all the guys on the right side were caught up in it.

Yep, the end of September was pretty much critter free in central Ohio.

But you know what bunnies like to do, so hopefully Sunday will be back at the Runoffs next year to eradicate the new population.
