Rennlisters at Summit Point this Weekend?
Any Rennlisters going to be at Summit Point this weekend running with Reisentoter PCA?
Just thought I would ask, since I don't know any of the usual characters that are able to make the event.
Hope to see some of you there...

Mark - Since some of the usual characters have promoted themselves to club racing, , they don't participate in the lowly DE as much anymore .
It is always nice to meet more of the Rennlister community in person instead of only in cyberspace.
Larry - I'll try to track you down during the weekend.

I might show up on Sunday if I get my tires straight (and they are ok w/ arrive and drive). I had a slow leak in EACH rear tire at the last FATT.
Tony and Mark, good seeing you both on Sunday, glad there wasn't too much damage to Tony's car from the deer.
Bill W. - Get well!

Have fun this weekend Skip. Tried to get a spot and no luck. Hopefully the weather will be nice. If you get a chance head over to Shenandoah and rip a few hot laps. Its all paved. I had a blast on Mark's bike last weekend during the Club Race.

We took the new toy out to SP for its maiden run today.
RTR were great - happy to let us run for the day, and even gave me a green student for good measure.
The car was a complete blast. Extremely physical to drive, but beautifully balanced and extremely quick. Great day!

I noticed your car there but did not realize that you were on Rennlist. I would have stopped over. What is in it & what group were you out in? Skip (swftiii) stopped over on Saturday where we were pitted and we talked for a minute but at that time I was busy fixing my kid's car & instructing a student so I really didn't spend much time with him (sorry Skip).

No problem Larry - I could tell you were very busy. Hopefully next time the cars won't give you problems.
It was a great event with Reisentoter, but it was pretty hot.

Eugene,
I doubt it. The track surface is paved, however, the runoff areas look rough and the infrastructure still has work to be done. Not sure if I would allow DEs in that condition and if it would be prudent to permit DE events, just to say that it opened in 2004. (the lawyer in me is speaking!)
