Default Any good tire choices for stock 718 20" wheels ?

I may have the chance to buy some stock 20" Cayman wheels , but was wondering what my options for track tires are that fit that wheel ?

for reference :

10Jx20 ET45

Sort of a wide open question. Are you driving to the track? Sticky street tires? R-Comp DOT? Race slicks?

Your gts should be able to fit 18s. And yuh get better tire choices there.

The stock 20 inch wheels are narrow (fronts only 8 wide and rears only 10.) I had them on my 718S for my first season or two and now just keep them for street. They look great but no bueno for track.

Look at the Apex site for their fitment guide. The 19's are ideal but there's more tire selection in 18s for our cars. If you're not in a rush and like to save money, their Black Friday sale is always good.

I would go 18s as the tire selection really opens up for 200TW. I really like the SuperCar 3's not the 3R for the 18" wheels for DE, even at advanced skill level they are a great tire option.

I am an Authorized Apex Wheels dealer so I'd be glad to help you, the next big sale will be labor day most likely, but why wait? - We just got a set of 19s for the GT4 rental gt4rnt.com these are a little dirty right now with a unicorn set of 265/30R19 and 295/30R19 Nankang CR-S V2's.

Also noted the FabSpeed and BlueSpot AoA Tall Risers on the GT4 wing!

I found on my Cayman 18's to be the best overall from a good selection of tires both 200TW and R Compound plus cheaper than 19 and 20" options.
You may want to go away from the RS4. They never wear out but IMO the suck with very little grip after just a few HC's. I had a lot better success with the Conti EFC which are often on sale buy 3 get one.

I kind of like the 245/40/18 and 275/40/18 fitment , and not much is available there ... Nankang CRS , RS4 and Supercar3s seem to be the best options

Drive to the track / drive car on weekends . I have a set of "street wheels" already , but don't swap them in and out during the track season .

I also like 245/275 as a standard offset but don't be afraid to look at 35 profile tires to open up your options.
