Get this on your summer plans! There will be three sprint races with two on the long track and one on the short course.

It's always nice up in the piney woods in July. Brainerd is a lakes area with a lot of resorts. Maybe get out and catch a walleye or two?

BIR should be a must do course for anybody who likes high speed flowing courses. Nord Stern is a great host. The track offers you a chance to test your mettle through the fastest corner in PCA club racing. GTB1 Caymans can take turn 1 nearly flat out at around 150 MPH. The third race on the tighter Competition Course (if they run the same format as last year) gives those who like the tighter courses a chance to get their revenge. As a bonus, the weather in Minnesota will beat anything you'll find down south that time of year.

Nordstern Loonacy is one of the funnest events on the PCA CR calendar, imho. The Nordstern Region are fantastic, friendly hosts and they put on the best happy hours. BIR is a fantastic track in the beautiful MN vacation center of Brainerd. Oh, and there’s some great racing there also.

Registration for the Nord Stern PCA Club Race at Brainerd International Raceway has opened. I'm hoping we get a good group of GTB1 racers signed up. It is always a good time.

The race is changed to 3 days on the 3.1 mile Donnybrook track.

I liked the two-track race weekend. (Running the short track today!) I'm still going!
