I experimented a lot with Tower Turn (13) for a good part of the day and discovered I could carry more speed in with harder and later braking (the asphalt runs along the outer edge) at the expense of a later turn in. The difference in grip between surfaces there is quite noticeable.
What a great track.

It took me a while to work up the courage to go flat all the way through Bishop Bend. There’s more grip there than meets the eye, but of course the car must be prepared for the off camber Gendebien Bend (Turn 15).

Yes, first time there this year, and I enjoyed the heck out of it. Even the bumps were enjoyable…..

Most of the time is not in Bishops, or even T1, but in two mirror-image sections very similar to each other.

I pointed by a faster Cup just as we were entering Bishop Bend last weekend at Sebring, he waved me off….(and I was kinda glad he did). First time there with the Challenge and had the time of my life.

I’ll be back at Sebring in late Jan with Chin and **may** have a surprise for the Porsche community - we’ll see………

i credit this tip to pro coach Ron Zitza. One of my favorite reference point markers on that entire track, and a tip I’ve passed on to many of my students during the years I spent instructing.

Our events (NNJR) usually open a couple months before the event, I think.
You can set reminders on MSR for each/any event. See ya at a bunch of 'em.
You gonna come visit me in Sebring this winter? I got a bed for you.....

All the chain hotels you could want.
I usually stay in Bellville at the Comfort Suites or the Quality Inn across the street.
Mansfield has a Marriot and the other chain hotels IIRC.
