On track, the Porsche Carrera Cup North America presented by the Cayman Islands will headline the racing action while multiple aspects of the Porsche automotive and motorsport culture will entertain and educate Porsche fans and casual attendees alike at the three-day end of summer event. In addition to the golden anniversary celebration of the 1972 911 Carrera RS 2.7, Sports Car Together Fest will play host to multiple activities off the track as well including:
  • A special gathering of Porsche GT cars. A special exhibition area dedicated to highest performance models developed by Porsche and what is expected to be the world’s largest gathering of Porsche GT cars.
  • Porsche Classic Restoration Challenge. For the second consecutive year, Porsche dealerships are invited to return a beloved Porsche sports car from the 1950s to 2000s back to its original glory.
  • eSports Championship. While the premiere Porsche one-make series battles wheel-to-wheel outside, the competition heats up in the virtual world inside. In addition for Porsche Club of America members only:

The Sports Car Together Festival is family-friendly with a dedicated Fan Zone and infield activities appealing to all ages. Among the planned entertainment is a house DJ, morning Yoga, Kid’s Zone, and live on-stage music performances. Sign up for ride-along activities like Autocross and Off-Road, dynamic modules located in the infield adjacent to the Fan Zone.

For PCA members only, you may also register for the PCA Corral ($75) and Parade Laps ($25). Registration for these events opens on July 20th and you must be logged in to your PCA.ORG account to register. Both of these require you to have a Porsche in order to participate.

[[color=red]*Please note that as in all racing series, delays and lost track time may occur. The PCA Driver Education event run sessions may be cut short due to unavoidable circumstances with the professional race classes. Pro-rated refunds will not be distributed to registered drivers if this occurs.]

And you can't even do the DE with your race car. Doesn't sound very "together fest" to me.

We have confirmed with Porsche Cars North America that race-prepped "STREET" AND "MOTORSPORT" cars ARE PERMITTED. So your GT cars don't have to be right off the showroom floor. Cages, harnesses, race seats etc. are all welcomed in this Driver Education event.

Ryan - bring your car and DE it! You once began there, you know! That chalk GT3 would look gorgeous on track.

I registered right at noon today with my Python 992 GT3. I ran all the PCA events there with MidOhio PCA over the years (in my 991.1 RS then 991.2 RS, then a GT4 too!). it’s so amazing simply being at IMS and driving out onto the track. Fingers crossed I get to be one of the 45 chosen! When will we know for sure Our entries will be confirmed?

I am going through them tonight and tomorrow. There are a few people who registered without the "approved car" and some which I need to verify driving records. I've gotten through half so far.
