Default Sales tax on PMNA race cars Canada

Please advise. What’s the sales tax on a PMNA race car that will be stored in (say) Toronto, ON? Is it HST of 13%? I read that race cars are exempt from the new luxury tax.

HST is applicable. Race cars are exempt from the luxury tax. However if you’re buying new you’ll also need to commit to racing in a series such as Porsche Carrera Cup.

Also if the car is being imported there will be a 6% duty.
