A truly remarkable man. Started as a rally driver and won Daytona for Porsche in 1967, among many, many other things.

His stories were wonderful. If you watch one thing, check out The Speed Merchants, the story of the early 1970’s manufacturers world championship for sports cars.

The thing I loved about him when I met him was that he was a very down to earth car guy. Pretty much just one of the guys.
