Environmental concerns will sink this (literally and figuratively sink).
As a north jersey guy I would much prefer to see something in western Morris or Sussex county with more interesting topography. Not sure that will ever happen because the guys who are vying the big dollar memberships and condos are already at Monticello.

The property cost in morris county for a reasonably sized track would be insane, plus the noise restrictions would be militant. Would never happen. Only slightly more likely in sussex.

Sussex would be awesome.
Elevation, high speeds, long straights, and you could tie it in to the Crawfish Festival…
