New Track Project Proposed for AC, NJ

I'm sure NJMP will join environmentalists in objecting to this project due to its relative proximity to their facility. Plus, with a 10 year timeline for completion, most of us will be too effen old to drive it anyway!

“This isn’t about a racetrack; we’re not holding races here,” said Atlantic City attorney Dan Gallagher, another of the partners in the development company. “The track is about 10% of what we’re proposing here. This is about sustainability, jobs, green energy. It checks all the boxes. It seems like everyone has had an idea for this property, but nothing like this.”
He’s either saying what he needs to say to get this approved and appease the lenders, or this isn’t going to be what all of us would expect and hope it to be

Sounds like a club style track arrangement. Lots of condos, and the comment about no races.
It'll be nice to have another track in the NYC area. 10 years is a ways off, we can hope.

Looks nice on virtual pics. Its a shame ac is such a $hithole and as soon as all the criminals over there put their hands in the pot it will never be finacially possible.

Track and clubhouse are lifted right off the Miami club.
Pretty pictures, but I don't knowtoo many ANY tracks that can start off with more than $1B in initial land cost and make it...

Miriam Webster defines Xanadu as a hole in the ground where you dispose $billions.
edit: which makes Peter’s observation even more apt.
(for those of you out of NJ, Xanadu is a mall of America sort of project across from giants stadium where multiple developers tossed away literally billions of dollars over twenty years before finally opening….right before pandemic).
