(7) GT4RS Clubsports Racing in the Roar Before this weekend
I am looking forward to see how the new edition Clubsport matches up. Some very fast drivers at the helm including Jason Hart, Spencer Pumpelli, Matt and Hugh Plumb, and Tyler McQuarrie among others.

Good. Three fastest laps overall are from the 718 cars in Session 1.

Eight 718 GT4 CS in the top ten overall in Session 2... Watch out, boys. Don't want them to send a "lead trophy" to you!

The Camaros, reasonably competitive in years past in GS, are way outclassed by the 718s in straight line speed . they also have them at 58mm restrictor, even at a wide open track like DIS.. should be interesting to see what they do with BOP next week..

Six out of the top ten in Session 3. The Camaro is right in there, at a high 1:53...
Eighteen cars in less than a second at the top... Not a lot of sandbagging going on.

Yeah Peter that grouping at the top: 13 or more cars within a second in the dry, is really quite impressive, particularly at a high speed track... With this as baseline. I hope the IMSA BOP guys do not iterate very much..... but they sure had no problem whacking on the WSC boys mid event... quite amazing in fact..

If they're already writing about it, this can't be good for BOP...

Quite a bit quicker. Spencer was quickest at this event last year in the 3.8 car at a 1:54.2, Jan Heylen was third. Jan won the Championship with one of the few cars competing.
This year, the new car is a second and a half quicker, which is quite a bit at this track.
Seb Bleekemolen did a 1:52.6 and the top THIRTY drivers, overall, were quicker than the fastest time last year. Some of this is tires, but the cars, drivers and teams keep getting better!
Fifteen of the drivers in the new 718 cars were quicker than than the top time last year.
Data attached are the time sheets showing fastest time for each driver after all sessions. Makes for encouraging reading!

And, quite predictably, BAM! Both the 718’s and the Mustangs (and surprisingly the Supras) get a lead trophy! Damn.
The 718 also got a reduced restrictor size and reduced fuel capacity.
Still think they can win…
