Damn! I didn't even know that there was a concours forum. . . just looking at the topics in that forum is enough to make me puke!

Years ago my wife told me we were going to another couple's house for dinner but don't worry the husband is a car guy so you will like him. Not only was he a concours guy, but it was with a Corvette Z06. He tells me he had it up to 90mph on the highway the other day and I responded that I drive faster than that in my SUV. That was in the first 15 minutes of meeting him so it was a long night.

Will stop by after dropping off this afternoon for a Margarita or 3. Will report back on the food.
I think I may have been to a sister restaurant in NJ a ways back. Same name.
Thanks

<me> So you're saying a high fat diet, enhanced with salt, caffeine, alcohol and tobacco, is a health issue?

glad no Porsches were hurt in this accident.
yes trust no one with your safety.
I always personally torque my wheels before on track.
PCA always torques in tech line in am here, but most other groups up here don't.
I am sure some guys are too lazy and rely on the fact the car was at shop and assume wheels are torqued and aren't properly torqued so accident happens...I don't doubt it. I have seen similar.
Stay safe and triple check everything!

more results of lug neglect...
This is the ultimate sequelae of driving 17 hrs straight to Sebring yourself, arriving v. late and sleeping in the hauler (no margaritas involved) , then trying to get the car ready by yourself next AM for early practice..,.....and missing a few things....
This side was literally wobbling on the titanium studs , chewing into the Aluminum in the first few laps..... as I was saying to myself: I remember Sebring being a bit lumpy but this is ridiculous.......
Ryan at Joengbloed remarkably able to make me a new center from a very old template.....
my bad...... do not do this ... Frank
