Rethinking allowing students in my car.

Before I take a passenger, I ask, "do you love rollercoasters?" If I get an enthusiastic, "Yes! I love them" type answer, then I'll ask one more time, to be sure, before offering the ride. If they don't like rollercoasters, even a little, they are not getting in my car if we are going to be pulling any strong G's. And yes, I tell them not to eat or drink too much, morning-of (and night before!), as pulling G's on a heavy stomach is not easy for anyone. The "rollercoaster" question works every time, so far...

Worse for me was instructing at Pitt Race. Didn't actually puke, but never felt as nauseous as sitting in the passenger seat at that track.

This is my "almost puke story" which I posted on Spencer ***'s FB page on the one year anniversary of his death:
In honor of Spencer I am going to tell one of those stupid stories that anyone who knows and loves Spencer will appreciate.
The whole Speedsport Tuning crew and a bunch of drivers were outside in back of the Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel. We were all drinking and smoking cigars for hours and Spencer says to me, "You better slow down you are driving tomorrow."
Like a bull to a red cape I start ordering double bourbons, rehydrating with beer, and lit up a third cigar. No one tells me to slow down!
The next day I am out on track at Watkins Glen and brake hard coming into the bus stop causing me to burp in my helmet. A mixture of stale bourbon, beer and cigar wafts into my helmet and I had to pull off. (Overshare? Maybe. But it is important to the story.)
I pull into the garage and Spencer says, "What happened?"
I pause for a good long time and finally give him what he wanted. "You were right, I should have stopped drinking last night."
His face lit up like a Christmas tree and he started doing a little dance. "I told you! I told you! You should have listened."
I still laugh at the little dance he did that day.

I’m rethinking letting students into my cars on the track. I had a student a few days ago get motion sickness while she was driving (very slowly too). We were only out on the track for about 4 minutes just going over the line at parade lap speed for the first session of the day. She said she was getting motion sickness and had to go in. We were 3 corners away from the pits when she said that and we made it halfway down the pits... then she projectile vomited all over the driver’s side. I’ve had people get motion sickness while in the passenger seat (but never throw up), but I did not think it was possible to get motion sickness while driving + so quickly for so little motion.
Anyone else ever experience something like that with a student? I'm really happy I took my daily driver that day as I normally would go out with the student in my car first to show the lines rather than explain them.
