Is that why you were wearing one at Pitt Race a few weeks back?

Maybe ask before giving someone a ride if they had a large breakfast.I think the key might be to continuIey check if the person is good to go with a thumbs up. I get motion sickness on certain tracks and use sea bands.

LOL I did it in a Cessna 152 with an instructor in the right seat on the day we did unusual attitudes. On short final. It went everywhere. The rule is, I had to clean it up myself. Ugh. I had eaten a bunch of butter cookies for a quick breakfast beforehand. D'oh!

My wife's nephew came to Barber with me, didn't last the warm-up lap and gave me the signal. Got him some dramamine at lunch and gave him some time to settle, made him bring a plastic bag along and he was able to handle 4 laps but ended up puking a few mins after the session.
Friend of mine lives by the 2 patches that go on your neck, not sure what medicine it is... He uses them when racing, and cannot handle the right-seat without them. Good call on the airplane puke bags!

Never seen the driver get sick as quickly as OP stated. More often than not, it's the right seat that gets out of shape.

This.

I had a big LRP hot dog with extra sauerkraut on a very hot day in August and then sat right seat with a student who was less than smooth and thought for a few moments that I wasn't going to make it. My rule after that was never have a big lunch if I am sitting right seat.

I thought you were pretty much chicken fingers and fries at LRP. Not the case?

BTW, when is your WGI DE coming up? I may be able to join you once again to close out your season.

Chicken fingers FTW!

CVR will be at WGI October 4 and 5 - we do allow some other marques aside from Porsches at this event. We discourage puking at our events while out on track.

Wait, other Marques? You guys gettin' soft or is it a financial thing? No matter, better you don't answer.

I'll check the schedule when I get home later and if it's open, I'm in and will see ya at Watkins (for what will probably be days 39 and 40 at The Glen for me this season). Amazing that I still suck at that track with all the seat time and all.

Agree on the discouragement of puking....

We have always allowed other marques at our WGI events.

Corvette drivers are encouraged to wear gold chains and Mustang drivers are discouraged from running people over in the paddock.

I've heard that with Stang drivers, we settle for not getting run over on track.

Wait, what about Subaru, Ferrari, and Lotus drivers? You boys getting picky again?

It was not meant to be an exclusive list. Ferraris and Lotuses are welcomed at our WGI events.

Its not that we don't like Subarus - its just that we can't have someone driving with Birkenstocks and when a Subaru engine blows it spews patchuoli oil all over the track. I'm also not a big fan of the "visualize whirled peas" and "Bernie" bumper stickers which seem to be a requirement for driving a Subby.

Puking inside cars at CVR events, whether driver or passenger, is generally frowned upon.
