Default Trailer Cleaning and Maintenance

Just took delivery of my first car hauler and need some tips on cleaning and maintenance.

1. I'm thinking about putting a coat of wax on for protection but what about ongoing cleaning of the exterior? How do you wash yours?

2. A general maintenance guide such as rust prevention, lubrication, and anything in general to keep the trailer looking nice over the long haul.

TIA

Hey Lance,

When I got my trailer last year I gave it a coating of Meguiars #26 pure carnauba. That held up OK but its time to do it again.

I hear there is some product mainly used for motorhomes/rv which is supposed to be really tough and durable. No idea on what it is yet.

To keep it clean, I have one of the local mobile detailers take care of it usually every other month (its a bit too much work for me).

Anyone out there has some recommendations.
