Here's what we have for openings for the April 2- 4 Drivers Education Event at VIR. Yes, this year it's three days for everyone and we are using the full course all three days.

Green 2 spots
Blue 3 spots
White 2 spots
Black 4 spots
Red 3 spots

Not much as you can see. For those of you who haven't paid but registered online, you are not in until the registrar receives your check. Email Kristen at Zone2Registrar@comcast.net if you've got 'the check in the mail'

We've got a great weekend planned. The traditional open house at VIR with free munchies and $1 drafts. On Saturday evening we've got better munchies and $1 drafts. Also, Chuck Goldsborough, owner and lead driver for Team Lexus will be back again to help out in the classroom and give a few lucky drivers one on one coaching.

I'll be there, trying to crack 2:03 in a street car (on slicks). Worn out slicks were good for 2:04.20 so maybe newer ones may help?

You gotta love Chris, a 2:03 in a street car...this wouldn't be the 996 Turbo, slightly modified, street car, would it??? And here I am all happy that I could do a 2:13....major shrinkage...major major shrinkage happening here.

Yes, that's the car, trying to keep it streetable since I have found a way to take 18 months to rebuild the motor in the RSR. Alas that is another sad story!

I think if I paint polka dots on the turbo I may be good for 2:01.

Manny - Will do. I really want to do VIR.

KJ - I'm just going for parity. I would like to not drive at 10/10ths just to barely keep up. But with the 930 Turbos and RSA's, maybe that's what I'll have to do. I would also like to not wreck my car.

<edit> KJ, now that I think about it, I was trying to keep up with you last year, and not doing a very good job of it.
