Getting fired from the family team is pretty impressive.

Remarkable how many guys are screwing up their real life careers while "driving" simulated races.

I can understand how some drivers hate this new sim reality. It's COMPLETELY different game. Simulators can be real close these day, but still it's completely different game. I imagine there is very little correlation between being good on a track and being good in these new world sim races. There is no car, there is no suspension, there is not connection between steering wheel and front wheels, there are no front wheels, or rears, there is not tight seat, belts, G forces, you don't feel your rear sliding, or front pushing... All those things that race drivers use from the ages of 6 or something... But suddenly people judge you on how good you at computer games. I understand some drivers wanting no part of it, but have to, so they get creative

Since his ringer finished 3rd, I'd say that's not the case.
