Just found out from Lime Rock that they are not allowed to run any events through April 30. Therefore the event will be cancelled.
We will work on rescheduling.
This stinks.
Bummer! Let's hope you can "pocket" this unmuffled event for another one later this year.
Are coaches going to be allowed to ride right seat in our cars? If I do this event, I'd like to use one of the LRP Driver's Club coaches whom I've worked with before.
PCA in general is currently not allowing in car instruction. Since the event is run as a PCA event I assume those rules would apply. Why not just do some lead-follow instead?

There are some regions that are currently doing in car instruction with a limited number of students. I know of at least one as I am at one of those events right now through Sunday.
Will be interesting to see how it works out. I will report back after the track goes cold tomorrow afternoon. As far as I know, it may be the first for a PCA region this season. I could be wrong.
I am hoping upon hope that it works out well so other regions might follow suit. Need those students....
Ask your coach to do video review (data if you have it) at the track after each session. Works great for race coaching, should be good for you too.
Yup, that could work. I've got the AiM Solo DL in the car and I've done data analysis with this coach before. A lead-follow on the track might also be be workable if we can get a second car. It's hard to pass up an unmuffled day at LRP.

I checked with PCA national. If the track and local government have no issues with in-car instruction, then it is ok. Connecticut is allowing one car instruction. I contacted Kevin, our registrar, and he said it's not a problem if you want to bring a coach. However, you will both have to register as participants.
