Hey all,

I have just begun to plan out my 2020 track season (actually started a couple months ago), and have dates for Chin, HOD, & Trackmasters, but those are private track groups. (Which I do attend many dates with).

Can you DE folks here post up (in this thread) your PCA DE Schedules as they become available, or the links to those schedules. I am most interested in the Zone 1 and Zone 2 schedules for all regions in those zones, but maybe everybody should post a link to their region's schedules here for all to see. I know it would be a big help to me and my planning, and I'm sure others hear would benefit from knowing the DE schedules well ahead of time as well.

I do know the Zone 2 DE at VIR (which I always attend), is scheduled for March 20, 21, & 22. I checked a lot of the regions websites recently and their schedules are not up yet.

Can we dedicate this thread to posting up links to the DE schedules of the various PCA Regions as they become known? (My main interest lies in the Zone 1 and Zone 2 region schedules, but any regions DE schedules (links) can be posted here as well). Who knows, maybe it will help fill some spots at some DE's that usually don't sell out.

Plan on doing both Glen events with CVR this season.

I ran at the Glen once with you guys a whole bunch of years ago when I was a student. Had fun, but really don't remember the event or the people. Too long ago. I do remember my instructor was registering people and I think his name was Tommy. I think. He called everyone "Chucklehead".

I was driving a TTS Cab at the time. Not the ideal track car for a novice. Way too much power for someone who didn't know how to handle it, but I do remember having a great time at the event.

Would do a Lime Rock DE with you guys but they are all 1 day events. I'll see what the schedule allows and will try to do at least one of the LRP DE's with you guys.

NOR regions will also typically have MOSCC dates in the Spring and Fall, as will OVR with possibly a mid summer weekday date and fall weekend date. The Summer Olympics June schedule is messing with Pro dates which in turn is messing with club dates at many tracks in 2020.

NOTE:
I See That April 25th is the "Instructor Development Program Kickoff Seminar" for Niagara … I have not seen this in past years, must be new for 2020? Does not say where yet.. 8am till 3pm.

 

CVR's WGI events are awesome! We also do a nice dinner at the Harbor Hotel the first night. After that we head out back and chase the old people away from the fire pit.

We (Niagara) had it this year (2019) as well. It was at the end of April at Prime Steak House in Victor, NY. It is basically designed as a "kick-off" seminar for the year long instructor training and part of the Instructor Development Program (IDP). It is by invite.
