• August 14-16 Fri.-Sun., Advanced DE on Thunderbolt, in conjunction with Club Race
• October 15-16 Thu. on Thunderbolt, Fri. on Lightning
• November 7-8 Fri./Sat. on Thunderbolt

Zone 1 48 Hours at Watkins Glen is Friday-Sunday, June 12-14, 2020.

I will likely open registration on April 15.

 

I will be there for sure. Could be a 7 straight days at The Glen week for me with this Zone 1 event smack in the middle. Had a great time at this event last season.

The Club Race is the 29-31 and Metro always precedes that...so assuming they have the 27-28

Metro schedule not yet published, but we know the WGI dates.
Event before club race is May 27,28. Mid summer long weekend moved to July 31, Aug 1,2 due to NASCAR dates moving.

FYI, last I looked, the rate at the Fairfield in Horseheads was much cheaper than usual for those dates...worth locking in the reservations if you're as committed to getting your marriott points as I..

Fairfield is good as are the other Horsehead hotels and I stayed there once a few years back.
I’m a Seneca Lodge guy. That’s where most of my track buddies stay and I love being a few minutes from the track. Also don’t have to drink and then drive back to Horseheads. I’ve stumbled back to my cabin at Seneca too many times to count. Would not have wanted to drive those nights.
Thanks for the WGI dates and please post up the full Metro schedule when it’s out. I miss George’s espresso machine all winter long.
