Default Pirelli 265 vs 275/645?

Anyone noticed any difference in performance between these two tires? Rubber on the road with-in 0.2", but side wall narrower on 265, 10.9" vs 11.7 on 275.

sidewall on the 275 is REALLY soft and it leads to horrible camber wear on them. Go with the 265 over the 275 every time if it's an option.

Joe i have asked this question before and have never gotten an answer. I wondered if the 275 being softer sidewall would aid in turn-in if you experiencing understeer?????

I ran the 265 this last weekend at Mid Ohio. Really liked them, but it was not a back to back with the 275, so hard to say. (I now have the new track record for GTS4)

I totally consumed the 265 tires in one day between qualify, one TT session and the race. Wore out the inside of the tires.

I am thinking that I will bring both to Nasa nationals and do a shoot out. My only issue is that I own a pair of the 275 new and I was planning on using them for the big race. I should buy a pair of the 265 too. I am sure I can sell the 275.

Thanks

Ed
