Oh no. I enjoyed her spirit with all things mechanical, and her love of things with wheels that go fast. 36 years is just way too short. No lack of courage on her part. Damn.

All of those Velocity Channel shows are filmed here in Tampa. We have hosted several shows are our shop over the past few years. A couple years ago we had a segment with Three Girls Garage and the Dyno Run was filmed at our shop where I met Jessi. Not really knowing who she was at the time. She asked if she could sit in one of our Cupcars and I said sure (was I going to turn down a cute blonde?) Anyway when she got in you could tell from the way she adjusted herself and held the wheel she knew what she was doing. That was when she told me she held the Land Speed Record. Very nice person that LOVED what she did, and way to young to leave us. RIP...

I first saw her on a Spike TV show about 4 wheeling called XTreme4x4. It used to air every Saturday around noon time. I really miss those shows like Horsepower with that guy that pronounced "wiring harness" funny.
I was wondering what happened to her. Good to see she was still rocking till the end.

Crazy I saw her talk at SEMA last year and she discussed her previous incident on the salt flats that almost killed her several years prior when her parachutes and brakes malfunctioned. Hope the same thing didnt happen this time around. RIP

When Jessi was on Xtreme she had a big bandsaw fall and break her back, she was out a long time. I think 9 months to a year. She had to have several vertebrae fused together. I think this was about 10 years ago.
