Default Good time for Sebring?

I am running a stock HP 1986 951 with suspension work. What is a good lap time at Sebring?

Mitch

How much suspension work?

Your car would be F stock

The race winner was around 2:35 best lap as I recall. (I left the results sheets at home-I'll check tonight.)

Of course I think any time that's a tenth of a second faster than my best is sensational.

Coil over. Not much else. I was running low to mid 40's in DE with some traffic. I guess I have some work to do.

I am also running Hoosiers

Actually low 40's would be right with a number of the best laps of F cars in Saturday's sprint race. They had some traffic too.

Any times in the low 40's or high 30's for F stock would be very competitive.

How do you think I feel Mitch?

My best was a 2:41.3 during the race. but at least I started 51st and finished 35th. It was a fun drive.

Also, most of the guys at the front have some pretty trick suspensions. They also are very good.

Hi gang, I'm just back in CT. Needed a vacation after all that waiting in the DE staging line! Sebring was a blast!
My best laps were Saturday? A 2:42.09 followed by a back-up 2:42.11.
Most laps had more traffic but managed to run most @ 2:44's/2:47's.
What class would would I be in- E/F. '91 C2, stock motor, basic suspension mods, 18's w/ well used MPSC's??, No drilled air box
Mike nice to see you you and a few others. Where did the time go?

Bill,
you would be in F as long as your wheels were not more than 1 inch wider than stock

....just for comparison, Kevin Buckler turned a 2:07 qualifying lap at Sebring during last weekends PCA 48 Hours event! I believe his best lap time was 2:10 during the actual race.

(Wife & worked timing and scoring all weekend during that event!)

Eric, I realize you guys you actually Club Race, and I need to really read the "Race Rules" But wouldn't I be in "E"? Don't get me wrong, I think I'd rather be in "F"! Me thinks that HWFM Turtle sticker is on the right car for now.

C4 GUY, Might you have times for qualifing and "Race" times for "E" Stock handy? I assume there posted somewhere in PCA? No?
Thanks
Bill
