Do you need a license to race Lemons? How are the drivers vested?

I did one LeMons and I would never do one again. The driving skills range from ok to I have no f'king clue to what I'm doing.
That rollover is an example of the latter.
Yeesh!!!

That rollover was pretty wild—lucky the driver wasn’t hurt.
Heads-up move by the Focus driver in the second clip, though, to pull his hands away from the wheel before hitting the wall.
Kind of looks like the Bad News Bears go racing...

A fellow RLer once shared this:
One of his coworkers told him that she was going Lemons racing (not crew or observer) that weekend. When he asked how much track or racing experience she had, she replied she had NEVER driven on the track and didn't know how to drive a stick (race car was apparently a manual).
Between that and the videos above, I would never ever race in Lemons. What a **** show! I'm sure there are good cars and good drivers in Lemons, but way too many yahoos who have NO idea what the f^ck they're doing. No, thanks, I don't want to die yet... Racing in SCCA and NASA is enough. Chump (now Champ) car I'd be willing to do.
Orange BMW passing on the grass and taking out 2 cars??? WTF...

Agreed, I've been trying a set and I'm impressed with the long life and are easy on the rotors. Track performance feels about like FerodoDS1.11. Girodisc worked with Raybestos to make sizes to fit Porsches. That's how I found out about them, from Girodisc. Got mine from Clark at Apex Performance, excellent customer service. I've got 9 track days on mine, still have about 1.4 times the backing plate thickness. The 9 days includes 3 dry track days at COTA.

Let me guess, Lemons racers use laptimers...
