OMG - what a shock. One of my all time favorite drivers. Did some business with him on the aircraft side and can tell you that he was a much better driver than airline executive. RIP!

Niki leaving us at 70 is so to early his presence in the F1 paddock brought comfort that the past can continue to live with the present.

If you haven’t seen “Rush” yet, it’s a good story about Niki Lauda’s racing years and his intense rivalry with James Hunt. Having survived racing during those years, he should have gone longer than 70, but what a life!

He was very seriously injured and transfigured yet endured. Getting to 70 was a tough road. RIP.

R.I.P. one of the toughest men in auto racing! A true champion and legend.

Considering he had two kidney transplants and a lung transplant in 2018, I am surprised he made it to 70. A will to survive surpassed by no one. A truly unique individual.

I was unaware of his kidney transplants....a drinker? No matter, the man was possessed to win. One has to admire his decision to follow his passion than inherit the golden brick road of his family’s wealth. #Respect
