I really like "Optimize the last 20ft of every brake zone." Fatter burnouts are an obvious goal

What's the plan/definition of improving comfort at the limit of street tires?

In my 121hp car on street tires the secret is to minimize my inputs to keep the speed up, and do so lap after lap......and by "inputs" I refer to anything that would detract from being WOT

I'm to the point where I can count the tenths I lose when I don't execute as I should, as compared to a "clean" lap.....
Brake just a bit too early/too much--there's a tenth.
Turn in just a bit too much so as to feel the fronts scrubbing--at least a tenth.
Fail to unwind the wheel in time on exit--you guessed it.
And so on.......and with so little power, once you do this stuff it's tough to get back what you've lost. In short, the steering wheel needs to be straight and my right foot needs to be on the floor as much as possible!

So for me, it's a never-ending battle, but very rewarding when I get it "right", not unlike when you strike a golf ball perfectly. You know it right away....

As stated, to do this consistently is the key and what I strive for. We'll work on it again this weekend at Mid-O, which offers plenty of opportunity for you to screw up

Gary

I hear you!
My car is also relatively low on power and when I do everything right and the predictive goes green, it feels so good!
then the next lap is "how did I do this again?!" lol

It's a 2006 bud. Still is a momentum car.
Also not the "relatively" low horsepower in my comment :-)
As opposed to cup cars for example
