Default Improving in 2019

I was wondering this morning - what are people doing to improve their driving in 2019? Do you have a plan to improve your driving?

I plan to achieve FLAT OUT

But seriously, no track ready car likely until the end of the year at soonest, so it's right seat track time. If I'm lucky, maybe one of my students will teach me something.

Deja Vu!

Trying to figure out a way to convince drivers who are better than me to let me ride in their right seat.

Being more conscientious about really listening to the car as it tells me what it wants and needs at various portions of the corner.

Spend fewer laps at my limit and more laps a half notch down so things become better ingrained and I can build up from a higher baseline.

More mult day events; fewer one day events.

Increase my exercise regimen to where my 911 no longer wears me out. Driving wise, further improve precision.

Same here. Trying to hike at least twice a week and ride my dirt bikes more. The dirt bike is way more physical than my driving my caged race car and is already helping my road racing. No end of race fade for me at my latest races last weekend. A really good sign you’re driving well is consistent lap times towards the end of the race / session as your tires get greasy.

Consistency
Feel for the car (making driving more intuitive and less intellectual)

There are some great goals in here. How many people have taken the next step and made a plan for achieving the goal? Taken the first steps?
