I believe everyone who has spoken with you, including myself, has walked away knowing that you are trying to improve the event. We may not agree - but there is only good intent.
I'm hoping we have our little experiment this year and then it goes back to 90 minutes in 2020.

will take you up on it. Registered for E but will be renting a spb as my new build E car won’t be anywhere ready, and it’s my fault. See you at the Glen my friend.

I will be there, racing Lou Betstadt's number 50 F-class 911. For those of you that knew him the car will be unchanged. His entire crew will be assembled to help get me through the weekend. Please find his car in the paddock. His trailer will be there also. Stop over, tell some stories, share a laugh or two. We miss him dearly but will carry on exactly how he wished.

Well Stated
All good Chairs are open to the input, but be polite and do not forget to thank the VOLUNTEERS and Chairs for all they do - so you can race. Seems like they explained why the change.
From Club Reg Page:
Organizing Track events, be it DE or CR or combo of both, comes with a lot of "parties" to satisfy and an army of non racing VOLUNTEERS to recruit - who put in all their time so others can enjoy a weekend of safe fun. I have watched at the end of many a Club Race when the 1st (2nd or even 3rd) enduro drivers are packing up and leaving for home while the Sunday CR volunteers continue to work to the end of the enduo day. Don't begrudge them the opportunity to get home a little earlier too.
Have fun, be safe out there.
From Club Reg Page:
**After the morning warm-up sessions, we will have three 60 minute Enduro races that will run back-to-back through the normal Watkins Glen lunch hour. This will allow for maximum participation with no refueling and drivers being able to do the whole Enduro with or without a co-driver or team support. The change also makes for an earlier finish and the ability to get home at a more reasonable time.
Seem like volunteers are contributing too - working thru lunch on Sunday. A big Plus one for Lou's memory. Thanks Don.
and big props for all who volunteer to put on a Club Race event. Being involved in another PCA race event, I do value the time and effort all those people put in. It is a huge load but everyone knows it going in. If they don't they don't come back. Ignoring the overwhelming wishes of the paying customer to reward the staff does not seem like a good plan to build the customer base.

I'm pretty sure that is the ratio it has been at in the past so I don't know if we are going to get an answer based on registration.
It would be interesting to do a show of hands vote among the enduro racers at a drivers meeting to see who wants 60 versus 90 minutes.
PCA is having to compete with AER and other race series. As someone else mentioned, sending home the workers early on Sunday is not a winning business model. We are there to race.
Any way you slice it being at the race track is better than the office.
