Default Rotating PS4s

I've got several DE weekends on my PS4s at Summit Point Main, WV. As a clockwise track the left front is as expected showing more outside edge wear than the right. As I understand it they are asymmetrical but not directional. I was thinking about rotating both the front and backs side to side since the tires are staggered sizes. Thoughts or experience welcomed.

Did you search? What does your logical thinking tell you?

Yes, particularly at SP. I swap my tires (left <> right) daily.

Fairly standard, that is a common thing to do down here, especially at tracks like Roebling, which is also clockwise with lots of long sweeping right handlers. In fact last time I was there I was on Hankook R-S4 which is directional, and it was good dry weather, no rain, and I ran them on the wrong sides to even them out.

Tracks with a low number of turns are more susceptible to left-right wear differences. Remember every track has to close its loop, both SP and RR are clockwise which means there are at least 4 right hand turns (in order to make a loop) and a near equal number of left-right turns to balance the loop. Do the math and with 9 or 10 turns (RR and SP) you will see that 2/3 of the turns are right hand which causes twice as much wear on the left than the right (2/3 to 1/3).

As a matter of fact I did search this forum and a general search. While it was clearly technically possible for PS4s I found no specific reference to the practice of swapping side to side although I suspected it was common. I thought this forum was to share experiences and get advice from those with more experience? Thanks to those that confirmed swapping side to side.

Some directional tires are only directional for wet purposes as well. Miata drivers run RA1s reversed in the dry all the time with no ill effects.

I run "directional" RE-71 in a square set up, in addition to front to back I will also swap them side to side in dry conditions to counter clockwise heavy tracks.

Guess your mom never told you if you don't have anything nice to say then say nothing.

I don't get why you would post this response to a guy asking for help on a forum designed as a community that is supposed to be supportive but if this response makes you feel smart and special I guess it works for you.
