Default Metro NY PCA May 29-30 WGI

I am taking a road trip from Louisiana to Mid Ohio with Chin on May 27-28 and will hit up WGI (while I am in the area) with Metro NY PCA.

I'll be in a grey E46M3. Would love to put a face with a name of any RL'ers in attendance.

I may be there...

Racing the prior weekend (at Mid-Ohio come to think of it) so not yet completely sure if I'll be doing a DE a couple of days later. Chin Mid-Ohio then WGI is a great combo, though the drive may be a bit far. Metro PCA is a very good group.

What car number? I'll try to find you if I'm there.

Mid-O to WGI is my favorite doubleheader. Don't know if you've been to either, but each is fabulous, in a different way.

I'm in my red 993....They'll be lots of us at The Glen w metro.

BTW, registration opened today.

If you drive 1000 miles what's another 6 hours.

67 - not thinking there will too many BMW E46 M3's.

I have done WGI a few times. This will be first trip to Mid Ohio. NASA national championships will be hosted there this a September and am trying to get in some practice laps.

Lol, true!! But I was referring to driving 6-7 hours after a full DE event, get to a hotel late, then waking up early for another DE in AM. Not for everyone though I've done it (including Mid-O to WGI and PittRace to WGI). BTW, PittRace is another very fun track now. Oh, and be forewarned that I-86 after you cross into NY state is bumpy as sh*t!! You'll wonder if they do any road maintenance there... My trailer did NOT like it!

You may be surprised how many BMWs are at PCA events. Usually lots.

Very true. If you can, do Chin PittRace -> Chin Mid-O -> Metro WGI. Chin's the best as far as I'm concerned, but I'm done with Chin for the year due to racing schedule.

Was there with NASA GL last Friday (rained all day; lots of "education")--you should try to do the Friday with them in May. 5 or 6 sessions for relatively $cheap$

Fast drivers are great, not fast cars.

No, SCCA and NASA.

I was originally scheduled to do the NASA GL event the 24-26, but I ended up with a work commitment and couldn't leave in time to make that event, so this was the next best thing.

I would've preferred an off day to travel. Depending on how it goes with Chin, I may try to bug out before happy hour.
