Per the DE registration info:
https://www.motorsportreg.com/events...-events-402044
"Please also understand that all DE registrations will be wait-listed, pending completion of the Club Race registrations and we are able to determine the number of advanced DE drivers who will be accommodated. The Club Race registration opens June 3, so we ask for your patience to let the entire event registration process become established. At this time, we estimate that we will start confirming DE registrations around the end of June. We suggest (with emphasis) you consider your lodging arrangements now, even when wait-listed."

Laguna PCA GGR disappeared from motorsportReg
I wonder if this means I didn't make the cut in the Advanced DE? Haven't booked a room yet. Monterey will be expensive I believe, Salinas on the cheap, or Carmel, the good life.

Event is still visible in MSR for me and Attendee List has a Martin with a 2004 GT3 listed.
Shows only 10 people signed up so if they go by when you registered I can't imagine you not getting in.
Per the event info page they strongly suggest you make room reservations ASAP (they can usually be cancelled with no penalty should your plans change.)

PCA GGR Laguna Seca
Thanks to all for the feedback. Hotel/Motel Rooms as you can imagine, are expensive, the Motel 6 @ $144 is the cheapest, then everything else is $300 + a night. I wonder why I can't seem to pull up the motorsportReg event..I have emailed the organizer. I am going to see if I can use Hilton or Marriott points somewhere in the Monterey Peninsula, as another approach.
The VRBO approach is another way, split the cost with some racer buddies.

Cheap motel Borgs Motel
My favorite go to place says they are almost wide open on those dates.
and he said for the cheap sports car guys the rooms 141-146 are $112 weekday and a bit more on the weekend. Ocean view $209. (Its an old motel that doesn’t raise their rates during special events.
I got married on the rocks across the street so it’s a special waypoint.
Borgs Motel Pacific Grove. 831/375-2406
no trailer parking.

I'm in for Friday-Sunday, although MotorSportsReg only lists the Sat and Sun attendees. I'm curious if there will be more than one DE group, as they've opened up registration for all experience levels. I hope that there are at least 2 DE groups - "Zone 8 solo" approved and "others".
Trailering up on Thurs, staying in Salinas (cheaper hotels).

There will be two DE groups and three race groups per an update I rec’d from Jim M, event chair, earlier today.
He also confirmed that one of the race groups will have only PCA Vintage Group eligible cars. Current car count for this group is 16. Would be great to get about 10 more.
103 DB sound limit, which are hard to get at Laguna.
PCA Vintage Group is open to all air-cooled Porsche’s (356, 914, 916, 911, etc) thru the 1989 911 Carrera G series that meet PCA Club Racing Safety requirements.
Details here - https://pcaclubracing.org/vintage/
Also for 2019 there are some incentives for first timers from other race series and most medical forms from other organizations are accepted. PM me for details.

The focus is more on race what you have (be it a retired PCA race car, a vintage Porsche from another series, or a vintage DE Porsche with the required safety gear) and drive it to best of your abilities and compete respectfully with who ever is around you and to learn and improve your driving and race craft. No chopping, no dive bombing, no red mist .... “gentleman racing” in the classic sense .... good fun racing side by side, back and forth, but with the utmost respect for the other drivers and the equipment.
