Default 3.2 Litre Custom Race exhaust, It's Done!!

Well,
After much research and work my exhaust is finally done. This is going on my Club Racing car and should really crank. It utilizes Smart racing headers with my own custom Burns Stainless restrictors to boost midrange followed by Burns/Coast mufflers and my own cnc exhaust bracket. Total exhaust system weight=26lbs. Now we are talking...

James, nice job! Too bad they'll be hidden. Hope it works out well for you.
What do you think the db's will come in at?

Bill, THey should come in below 89Db if everything works as it should. I was getting tired of switching exhausts for LRP!

Mark, I got the mufflers at http://www.burnsstainless.com

Cheers, James

James;

I will be VERY interested in how quiet those mufflers are. I have known of Burns for some time, and have eyed those mufflers closely.

I will eagerly await your report of the report... from the mufflers!

James,
Nice job with the welding. I'd like to see them with a crossover pipe, or at least some flanges so you can experiment to see if there's any difference with and without.

Oh,...A crossover (equalizer) pipe makes a VERY big difference in torque and A/F ratio,....

The setup that's popular right now with the HSR folks is a 3 into 2 into 1 exhaust system which combines both exhaust banks into one pipe. It has no muffler but seems quieter than the usual 3 into 1 megaphone system (I didn't have a dB meter handy to measure).

It's in!! Sounds fantastic and will easily pass LRP(89Db) I got my midrange back too..ZERO resonance for real, Not the B&B idea of zero resonance either.

1. Cone air filter
2. 1.5" ID Headers.
3. Custom Designed restrictors with COast/Burns mufflers.
4. Steve W. Chip.
5. Otherwise stock Carrera motor 76K from factory.

213.6RWHP!!!!
192.0 torque(ft-lbs.)

I'll post the graphs once they are e-mailed to me...
