VIR is North Carolina as far as I'm concerned. Heck, you have to go through Milton, NC to get to VIR.

Summit Point is Pennsylvania/Maryland to me.

The weather at last years Zone 2 DE at VIR was awesome. Nice cool mornings and very comfortable and sunny days. My car loved the cool crisp March Virginia weather.

Can't wait to register and hit one of my top two favorite tracks in March...

Bring it!!
Guys, I'm well aware of where VIR is...I'm a born and raised Virginian. And I will absolutely stand by my original statement. I've seen some damn chilly weather in March and seen our only snow occur in March. I hope for great weather for all who go but I won't be there.

Maybe you should get out more?

(sorry man, it was there).

Thanks for the well wishes on the weather. Hope it turns out nice and warm(ish) for this event. I think you should register....

I've been to this event when the weather was rainy and cold. Probably one of the best learning experiences I've ever had. Especially since the paddock is now paved.

I guess a car control clinic, while not as much fun as a DE, is better than nothing.

I avoid that event like the plauge. Too long a haul for weather crapshoot. The wet is fun, freezing just sucks.

Yep, a Wednesday. A week later it was 73 degrees and the snow was long gone.

What were the dates of this DE last year? Was it before that snow? Is snow normal weather
for late March down there?
I’m pretty sure I remember stellar weather last season for this event. Crisp and cool mornings and warm sunny afternoons.
Hoping for more of the same this year. Please
don’t post any more pictures of snow in this thread. Thank you.
