OHLINS dealers
Looking for some information on OHLINS, specifically the R&T setups that appear to be a nice compromise for street/track cars. They look like a good step up from PSS-10's by way of comparison.
Would be interested in recommendations of OHLIN dealers that do a good job supporting the product and partners, understand Porsche specs, and do a fair bit of volume.
Our shop is looking to test out the product offering, and would like to partner with a strong dealer.
Thanks in advance.
Best,
Matt

Thanks Matt for the lead - based on their website they definitely look like a good starting point.
Anyone else come to mind?
From what I can see, OHLINS seem to have their dealer network wholly on the down low. At least compared to the other top suspension folks.
Cheers

There are a couple threads on P9 about the Ohlins. The thread titled "Ohlins is coming" has their contact info.
Everyone on P9 that bought them was disappointed with the high spring rate and resulting harsh ride. Much too harsh for street use is a common complaint.
Some resold their Ohlins and went back to stock. A couple bought softer aftermarket springs. I offered to trade my like new PSS9s with a guy who hated his Ohlins, but he refused to admit he bought the wrong setup for his intended use. I offered the trade with the promise to switch back if he didn't like the PSS9s after 30 days. I wanted a head to head comparison.
Hope this helps

Not close to you in Quebec, but these guys do a lot of suspension support for us down here: https://www.wulffmotorsports.com/ and is where I'm going to get my Ohlins R&T set up for the 996 GT3. Ask for Fletcher. Everyone I know that has that set up on their GT3 loves it.

Just called both companies recommended above.
Both top notch and seem to have a wealth of experience. I was looking at stepping up to an Ohlins R&T but may have just been talked out of it.

Thanks for the additional resources guys - I'll start dialing and see where I end up.
As for the R&T application, I'm looking for something that will do (primarily) track well and still be liveable on the street, I don't trailer my car so it needs to be liveable for 6 hour runs to WGI, CTMP on the outside. The stock 996 GT3 suspension is fairly crap on the street, especially when you consider how softly sprung it actually is.
Many run re-valved Bilstein with 600/800 acceptably, but I am intrigued with reports that the R&T may ride better with the same rear spring rate, albeit softer in front. I think the OHLINS rates are closer to 400/800 for the 996 GT3, with more front spring 997 onward.
We'll see.
Best,
Matt
