Default Romano Fenati pulling brake of Stefano Manzi

What possesses someone to act with such reckless disregard for another racers safety?

Life is way too precious for that s***. Something like this should not even cross a world class rider's mind!

I saw this the other day. I'm generally pretty unbothered by on-track spats between drivers, but this crosses a line, as if motorcycle racing wasn't dangerous enough. There's no way it was anything other than deliberately endangering the life of somebody. I'd support revoking his license.

Waiting for post that it was the other rider's fault because he didn't have situational awareness . . .

Fenati is a bum in more ways than one. This was the latest and most serious example of his flawed character and values. He needs to be banned forever from Motorsport, and not just a 2 race benching.

I follow MotoGP pretty religiously and was shocked at what possesses a guy like that to even attempt such an act at those speeds. Apparently he had been kicked out of the Valentino Rossi Academy riders a while ago because he's a little "unbalanced" emotionally. Although he got a 2 race ban, his team dropped him the day after this happened. His career is probably over.

His earlier exploits have included kicking another rider’s bike on track (he’s blue bike number 5, at about 10 sec mark):

Wow that is crazy. Could have been deadly for both of them.

Glad the team let Fenati go. Sure, Manzi is no angel, but that move by Fenati has so much potential to end the other rider’s career. Insane...

Wow, that guy is a real crackpot ... his helmet is surely too tight for his head and cuts the circulation to his brain !

Since this is primarily a auto racing forum, is this still OK?

Edit - How do you make it start later in the video? I've tried t=55s and ;start=55, anyway, fast forward to 55 seconds.

In a sport like MotoGP, where opportunities are precious and few, Fenati has managed to squander two golden opportunities. Fortunately, there is no shortage of ambitious young talent that can take his place.

I think Fenati should lose his race licence. Terrible behaviour, he has history and clearly can't comprehend the potential in his behaviour. This is dangerous in itself.
